It's the time of year when the winter winds down and I'm dreaming about summer and specifically road trips down to Provincetown, Massachusetts. If you've never been, it's only about the gayest place in America! It's a great little town at the tip of Cape Cod, full of great shops, galleries restaurants and views, and it's a fantastic place for your gay wedding.
There aren't very many venues in town for big weddings so most couples who marry in Ptown have smaller weddings, often on the beach. Here are a few of my favorite Provincetown venues:
The Red Inn - this beautiful inn on the water can't be rented in July or August - and you have to rent every guest room - but it's a beautiful spot for the wedding in Ptown's west end.
The Provincetown Art Association and Museum - I have friends who actually chose this beautiful space for their wedding in June. It's not on the ocean but just across the street. For a modern affair, this is your best spot in Ptown.
Private home rental - I've had several clients rent a private home for a week and have their guests (best for groups up to 50) enjoy a catered wedding on the home's deck. Many homes in Ptown have huge decks suitable for small weddings. This is a great option for the most personalizing of your wedding.
